SUMMER 2011

In 2011, the South Pasadena Theatre Workshop's Youth Conservatory program presented a poignant and stirring rendition of Jim Leonard's "The Diviners." Set against the backdrop of a small town in the heartland of America during the Great Depression, the production unfolded with raw emotion and heartfelt sincerity. Directed with sensitivity and depth, the young actors delved into the complexities of Leonard's rich characters, bringing them to life with authenticity and conviction. As the story explored themes of faith, friendship, and redemption, the audience was drawn into a world where the power of human connection transcended hardship and adversity. With evocative staging, powerful performances, and a timeless message of hope, this production of "The Diviners" left a profound impact, reminding us all of the resilience of the human spirit in the face of life's challenges.
